Today tuition from 9 to 130. After that went to see a edu counsellor near by omega with sy hy hk and simin. We chatted about 2 hours with the guy. Actually i think everyone of us has an answer and just getting a nod or a agree from profession people.
I think the guy doesnt help much in my choice of study in future. Because i was influenced at the moment but not after i think about it. He is an agent so.. must be earning money from sending students to the uni he introduce. The uni he introduce are in Switzerland and Ireland. The living cost u need per week is about RM 280 and the fees is about RM 34000. There is quite few advantages. It is actually about the same with the cost u need in KL or Spore if u are studying private uni. Its hostel is free of charge for 3 years u study. The course is hospitality and hotel management and business and related course.
For science related course, then Ireland is his recommendation. About the same cost u need and according to him, Ireland has well developed in bioscience. Because i asked about nutrition. For Psychology, James Crook Uni in Spore is introduced. The uni he introduced in Ireland and Switzerland are governmental.
So, u'll realise no matter what subject u asked, he will introduce foreign country. I agree what he said that u will grow up when u are alone in foreign country. And for hotel management related course, multi-language is very important. In Switzerland, they learn Germany and French. I think this is the country he is attending. But, really not everyone can afford. And if some of them do, we will not studying form 6. So, i asked him something about local u. I can see that he know not much. K, i think this edu counsellor is good for some advise and opinion but not into it.
I dont think i'll spend money to study. So, i just think i learn knowledge from the 2 hours but not finding direction for my future. Most important is how u use your mind to do well in the career u chose. I certainly agree this. People like my brother who has no target in life, dont even have a dream of earning lot money, need this kind of counsellor. The thing i learn most today is... i know what to do very well. No need others to choose for me.
But when my form 6 life is going to end, i realise my mum has more and more opinion about course i chose. The expression she showed when i mention nutrition, pharmacy... disappointing. I always thought she gave me all the freedom in choosing my course but she is influencing me bit by bit. Because of her, i was considering accounting and finance when i totally no idea about it. No matter what, i'll make sure i am not forced in making any choice. I will not give her any chance to think i made a wrong decision.
I am rational according to the test i did today. lol. I thought i was damn emotional in doing things.
